Erica is a multi faceted artist. After almost two decades as an apparel and accessories designer, she switched her focus to ceramics. She now combines clay and other materials to create organic forms, both functional and decorative. Erica’s art is informed by process as well as the natural world and the human condition. 

Often her work speaks to being raised as a first-generation Filipino American. She incorporates textural elements and fiber in her pieces to tell stories of nostalgia for ancestral lands and hint at themes of cultural juxtaposition, and even at times the vibrant joy that defines a typical Filipino celebration. 

All works are one of a kind, and created in her home studio in Millerton, NY where she resides with her husband, son, and dog.
